Tommy Adebayo is the founder and publisher of Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine. In this capacity he is in charge of creating value beyond the pages of the magazine. He is responsible for the strategic positioning and overall profitability of the business which includes magazine publishing, Personal and Professional development events and Entrepreneur workshops and expos. Tommy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Eng. (Elect/Elect) from University of Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria, Master’s degree in Information Technology from Griffith University, Graduate Certificate Oil & Gas Engineering from University of Western Australia, Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Edith Cowan University, Australia. Tommy is a Chartered Professional Member of Safety Institute of Australia. In 2011; Tommy was honoured as the Multicultural Community Service Awards winner by the Western Australian government. As the founder of African Professionals of Australia ltd (APA), Tommy brings together community-based associations to work in partnership to empower, educate and support people from diverse community. Tommy understands firsthand the importance of empowering community-based organisations and associations with information to support and sustain community growth. Tommy is a Health Safety Environment Quality Manager for Total Marine Technology Pty Limited. TMT core business involve designing, Manufacturing and Operating Remote operated Vehicle (ROVs) for the offshore drilling and production industry.
Less Miles
Less Miles serves as the General Manager for Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine. Lee’s background encapsulates the notion of a protean career! As a career development professional, she has worked in private and public sector organisations including college and university sectors and has co-authored resources for senior school students. Lee is a Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) and for more than five years, was Editor of the Australian Career Practitioner magazine. Lee is also a professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Eve Howell
Eve Howell serves as a non executive director for Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine. Eve Howell is an experienced geoscientist, executive and company director having worked over 40 years in the oil and gas industry. She has held senior roles with Woodside Energy Ltd and Apache Energy Ltd. With the former, she was Executive Vice President Northwest Shelf as well as CEO of the Northwest Shelf Project (Australia’s largest resource project). Prior to that, she worked for 17 years for Apache Energy in senior roles in exploration and business development and as Regional Vice President for Australia and Managing Director.
Eve holds a B.Sc. in Geology and Mathematics from the University of London and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School. She is a Non-executive Director of ASX listed Downer EDI Ltd, Mermaid Marine Australia Ltd and Buru Energy Ltd.
Max De Vietri
Max De Vietri serves as a non executive editor for Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine. As a geologist with 40-years of international experience, he was instrumental in championing the development of the mining industry in several countries of Africa and is presently Managing Director of EMR Resources, a mineral explorer in Sub-Sahara Africa. He is an “Officer of the National Order of Merit for the Islamic Republic of Mauritania” (2006) in recognition of his efforts in promoting mining and petroleum activities in Mauritania. He is also the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Mali in Perth (2005), for his efforts in establishing it as a petroleum province.
Max holds a Graduate Diploma in Business (1988), a Master in International Relations (2010) and is presently completing a research doctorate in International Relations, examining the social and political changes that occurred in Mauritania between 2001 and 2011 in the course of establishing a new natural resource industry.
Melvin Hachuma
Melvin serves as the Brand Manager for Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine. Melvin is a qualified accountant, a member of CPA. In Addition, Melvin holds a Business Administration degree. In addition to his work experience in Australia, Melvin also worked in England and USA, in diverse capacities including Business Analyst, Auditor, Banker, and Accountant. He has worked in several organizations including Remington, Abbey National Bank, Harmony Gold, AIG, Straits Resources, and American Mineral Fields. Furthermore, Melvin has extensively travelled around the world as part of his work. He has a strong passion in community work and service; as a result, he sits on several not-for-profit organizations Board Committees in Australia and abroad.
